Riding Gangway

The Riding Gangway is a gangway ladder with a fixed length. The structure is attached to a riding guide rails at the jetty and can be driven or non-driven. The ladder is usually maneuvered to and from the ship by small dedicated lifting gear.

This gangway type is a perfect solution for smaller vessels. The sway movement of the ship will be compensated by the riding movement along the rails, or by solo driving at the quay.Compared to our column and tower type gangways, the Riding Gangway has a simpler construction, which makes it a more economic design, but it requires more space on the jetty.
